You need to select Irish Farm Computers Ltd. as your preferred software supplier in Agfood. See below for details (Herd Register: AgriNet HerdApp is NOT an approved herd register. Please pick the herd register option in Agfood instead).

Selecting Irish Farm Computers Ltd in Agfood:

The Department of Agriculture require that you visit www.agfood.ie once to select your preferred software provider for calf registration and movement permits. If you already register calves on AgriNet Herdmaster you do not need to do this.

  1. Login to www.agfood.ie using your agfood username, PAC number and password.
  2. After logging in, select the AIM option (Animal Identification & Movements) on the left.
  3. Click “Interact with AIM using Farm Software Providers” from initial menu.
  4. Put a tick in the box beside Irish Farm Computers Ltd. and Continue.
  5. You will be asked to accept the terms & conditions.
  6. You will be asked to enter your email address twice. Then Save.

Break a link from Agfood to a previous software provider:

Note: If you end a software link today, you can create a new software link to Irish Farm Computers Ltd. as your new software provider, but this new link won't become active until the following day.

You cannot use a link to Irish Farm Computers Ltd./AgriNet as above if you already link to a different software provider. Break this existing link first as follows...

  1. Login to www.agfood.ie using your agfood username, PAC number and password.
  2. After logging in, select the AIM option (Animal Identification & Movement).
  3. Click “Interact with AIM using Farm Software Providers” from initial menu.
  4. Place a tick in the box to the very left of your current software provider.
  5. Click on “End date software provider” button.
  6. Click on “Confirm” button.
