- A batch "Set as non breeding" is possible. It's done from the "Purchases" tab in moves (see screen below). A farmer should set this cull record either at birth or purchase and we already allow the cull status to be set when adding a new birth.
- Click "New Batch" then "Add Event" and then you will see "Set as non-breeding". You can leave it that it selects all animals, or you can filter between two purchase dates if you only want to select animals bought on a certain date.
- When you click on "Set as non-breeding" we count to see how many of the animals shown are female and also have no cull recorded yet.
- If there are any females not culled yet then you will be asked "Do you want to set all X Females Not Culled Yet in this batch to being beef animals. ie not for breeding. HerdApp will use Unknown/None of the above as the culling reason. Continue? Yes/No"
- When you say yes all females not culled yet are culled using todays date and "Unknown/None of the above" is used as the reason.
- After saving you will see "X records saved. See these cull records in Cull tab of the Breeding area"
