Agrinet HerdApp now supports a number of Electronic Scales


Bluetooth Scales: 

  • Tru-Test S3 - Connects to HerdApp on mobile via Bluetooth (BLE).


Both a wand and a S3 scales can be paired from the Weighing Screen. 

- Click on their respective icons to initiate pairing.
- The icons turn green when paired.




Weights CSV Uploads:

  • Tru-Test EW7i
  • Datamars Livestock Cloud
  • Gallagher TW1
  • Others - Other CSV sources should work but may need adjustments to Headings and date formats.


There is a new Import CSV option in the Weights Section.  




Below is an example of an acceptable CSV (Can be used as a template if you have a scales not listed above)

- The EID or VID field should be enough on any animal with the white EID tags (or a Partial Number if unique within herd) 

- VID field is read last by HerdApp and if filled will be taken as animal ID regardless of what is in EID (Useful for cows with management tags that don't match the IE Visual Tag. Many scales have a Tag list or Link List option to fill in VID for such animals).



Below is another acceptable CSV From a Gallagher scales where the farmer was just using the ICBF Jumbo, HerdApp will accept the smallest unique ending portion of the tag from the herd (Including sold animals!).
