To Connect an AWR250 to HerdApp:

1. Go to Menu

2. Select Setup

3. Select Interface Setup

4.  Select Bluetooth

5. Select Bluetooth Mode

6. Select Slave Mode

7. Select Set BT Profile

8. Select BLE

Device is now ready for connection with HerdApp

Click on the wand icon anywhere you see it in HerdApp on mobile to complete connection.

To Connect an AWR250 to a Tru-Test S3 Scales:


This is only needed to connect the AWR wand directly to the S3 scales without HerdApp. To connect scales and wand to HerdApp use the instructions above.

IF S3 scales is not in the list on the wand then you may need to install the latest firmware using the Agrilink Program.


1. Go to Menu:2. Select Setup
3. Select Interface Setup
4. Select Setup Scale
5.  Select Set Scale Type6. Select Tru-Test S3 (BLE)
7. Go Back
8. Select Bluetooth
9. Select Bluetooth Mode10. Select BLE Weigh Scale
11. Green Icon on Reader shows connected.12. Bluetooth Icon should also show on weigh head.

To Connect an AWR250 to a Tru-Test EW7i Scales:

1. Go to Menu:2. Select Setup
3. Select Interface Setup4. Select Bluetooth
5. Select BT Profile6. Select SPP
7. Select Bluetooth Mode
8. Select Master Mode
 
9. Select Set BT Passkey10. Set to 0000
11. Select Start BT Enquiry12 Make sure scales is turned on and wait
13 Select EZiWeigh14. Green Icon means connected - select exit.

To Change between HerdApp and direct scales connections:

Between HerdApp and S3 scales:

1. Go to BT Mode
2. Select Slave Mode for HerdApp
Or. BLE Weigh Scale for S3 scales


Between HerdApp and EW7i scales:



1. Press and Hold BT Mode
2. Select Set BT Profile
3.  Select BLE for HerdAppor. Select SPP for EW7i
4. Go To BT Mode5. Select Slave Mode for HerdApp
Or. Master Mode for EW7i

To Record Weights using the AWR and the S3 Scales:

1. Go to Menu

2. Select Join Data
3.  Select EID + Weight
4. Read a tag
5. Select to get Weight6. Wait for Scales
7. Select Confirm
8. Read next tag and continue
